The Applied Medical B1005 Acucise endopyelotomy system is a complete retrograde solution for the treatment of UPJ obstructions and ureteral strictures. This minimally invasive procedure typically takes less than one hour to perform, and most patients leave the hospital within 24 hours.
The Applied Medical B1005 Acucise endopyelotomy system features balloon technology to define the area of stenosis, deliver the cutting wire to the tissue for direct incision and tamponade post-incision. Contrast delivery during a retrograde pyelogram enables precise placement, while the use of the Forté ureteral access sheath further facilitates this approach.
