Wright 84000101 Osteoset Pellets Bone Graft Substitute offer a biological framework into which new bone can form and are resorbed at a rate consistent with natural bone formation.
OSTEOSET Bone Graft Pellets are made of medical grade calcium sulfate. Included in the carton of OSTEOSET Bone Graft Pellets is one vial of medical grade calcium sulfate.
Wright 84000101 Osteoset Pellets Bone Graft Substitute is indicated only for bony voids or gaps that are not intrinsic to the stability of the bony structure. The product is intended to be gently packed into bony voids or
gaps of the skeletal system (i.e., the extremities, spine and pelvis).
These defects may be surgically created osseous defects or osseous defects created from traumatic injury to the
bone. The pellets provide a bone graft substitute that resorbs and is replaced with bone
during the healing process. Because the pellets are biodegradable and biocompatible, they may be used at an infected site.
The biodegradable, radiopaque pellets are resorbed in 30-60 days when used according to labeling.

Expiration dates have mostly to do with sterilization and not the integrity of the product. The manufacturers sterilize the products after they are packaged and it lasts so many years. The only products we caution customers about are ones that are absorbable or drug coated.
