7209628 Smith & Nephew Vulcan TAC-C II Electrothermal Probe measures actual tissue temperature 50 times per second. This provides direct thermal feedback to the Smith & Nephew VULCAN Generator where immediate adjustment of energy output compensates for operative variables such as irrigation flow and treatment speed. When used in the shoulder, knee, hip or small joints, the result is a consistent, reproducible thermal effect.

In Perfect sealed condition but but past expiration date. Not for human use in the US.

Expiration dates have mostly to do with sterilization and not the integrity of the product.  The manufacturers sterilize the products after they are packaged and it lasts so many years.  The only products we caution customers about are ones that are absorbable or drug coated.
