6K02A Gore-Tex CV-6 ePTFE nonabsorbable Suture is a unique, microporous, nonabsorbable monofilament made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), the same proven material used in other Gore Medical Products. This unique material offers the benefits of both monofilament and multifilament sutures with the excellent material properties of PTFE.

Expiration dates have mostly to do with sterilization and not the integrity of the product.  The manufacturers sterilize the products after they are packaged and it lasts so many years.  The only products we caution customers about are ones that are absorbable or drug coated.
