Ethicon Gynecare 01950 Electrode is one of 5 Electrodes that works with the GYNECARE VERSAPOINT Resectoscope, which permits direct viewing and access to the uterine cavity for performing hysteroscopic surgical procedures
GYNECARE VERSAPOINT System is an operative hysteroscopy system that operates in normal saline
Features include:
- Color-coded and keyed connectors expedite selection and automatically preset specific generator settings
- Quick disconnect and connect locking system for fast hysteroscope changes
- Accessible and visible outflow and inflow valve levers
- Smooth lever-spring mechanism ensures positive electrode control
- Swivel thumb-ring permits multi-directional use for greater electrode control and maneuverability
- Hysteroscope with a small 4 mm bore size is available in two different options: 30? – WA (Wide Angle) and 12?
- Ergonomic, reusable handpiece quickly accepts all configurations of GYNECARE VERSAPOINT™ Electrodes
That it is NOT intended for tubal sterilization procedures, and the patients conditions for which it should not be used in, such as:
- Acute cervicitis
- Pregnancy
- Cervial or uterine malignancy
- Active pelvice inflammatory disease
- Pregnancy Unaddressed adnexal pathology
In Perfect sealed condition but past expiration date. Not for human use in the US.
Expiration dates have mostly to do with sterilization and not the integrity of the product. The manufacturers sterilize the products after they are packaged and it lasts so many years. The only products we caution customers about are ones that are absorbable or drug coated.
