The CONTOUR Curved Cutter Stapler with its unique curved head provides a more precise transection* and less tissue slippage* compared to Endo GIA Radial Reload with Tri-Staple Technology.

Designed to be reloaded to complete a single transection. CONTOUR Curved Cutter Stapler with its unique curved head and tissue retaining pin supports multiple firings which may be used to prevent overloading of the tissue in the jaws of the device. The knife extends to the retaining pin and the staple line extends beyond the pin, supporting multiple firings when needed.

Expiration dates have mostly to do with sterilization and not the integrity of the product.  The manufacturers sterilize the products after they are packaged and it lasts so many years.  The only products we caution customers about are ones that are absorbable or drug coated.
