AutoSuture Auto Purstring 45

The Auto Purstring 45 single use instrument has application in intestinal, colorectal, esophageal, gastric and cardiac surgery for temporary and permanent purse-string placement.
It places a circumferential strand of 2-0 nonabsorbable braided polyester surgical suture, U.S.P., held in place by stainless steel staples.
The stainless steel staples are attached to the structure or organ where a purse-string is desired. The instrument is activated by squeezing the ring handles.
This product line was purchased by Covidien from Tyco/Auto Suture-same product but Covidien is now the manufacturer.
In Perfect sealed condition but expired. Not for human use in the US.
Expiration dates have mostly to do with sterilization and not the integrity of the product. The manufacturers sterilize the products after they are packaged and it lasts so many years. The only products we caution customers about are ones that are absorbable or drug coated.
There is a $125 minimum order due to the cost of shipping.
