Arthrex AR-1349 Spiked Washer 14mm for knee reconstruction procedures are available in multiple sizes and can be used in conjunction with the screws.
The optional low profile, Arthrex AR-1349 Spiked Washer 14mm may be used in conjunction with the Bi-Cortical Post for fixation of soft tissue tendons directly to bone. The posts and washers are manufactured using titanium ASTM F-136 alloy. The smooth, concave-shaped washer option is used to securely trap attached sutures and bulky suture knots atraumatically under the low profile washer to eliminate potential soft tissue irritation. The spiked washer option facilitates direct soft tissue or ligament fixation to bone.

Expiration dates have mostly to do with sterilization and not the integrity of the product. The manufacturers sterilize the products after they are packaged and it lasts so many years. The only products we caution customers about are ones that are absorbable or drug coated.
