The 174001 Covidien AutoSuture Endo Babcock 10mm instrument has applications in a variety of general, thoracic, gynecologic, urologic and endoscopic procedures. It is used for temporary grasping/clamping of tissue and small tubular structures.
The 174001 Covidien AutoSuture Endo Babcock 10mm instrument has a 10 mm diameter insulated shaft, 31 cm in length, and is designed for introduction and use through all appropriately sized trocar sleeves, or larger sized trocar sleeves with the use of a converter. The jaws measure approximately 44 mm in length, with a maximum jaw opening of 34 mm.
In Perfect sealed condition but past expiration date. Not for human use in the US.
Expiration dates have mostly to do with sterilization and not the integrity of the product. The manufacturers sterilize the products after they are packaged and it lasts so many years. The only products we caution customers about are ones that are absorbable or drug coated.
